ACCOUNTANT
JOB DESCRIPTION
· Maintain financial records, including the general ledger, and document business transactions.
· Reconcile bank accounts and address inquiries from banks.
· Oversee accounts payable and payroll.
· Maintain contracts for new jobs. Bill clients for progress billings. Maintain accurate records of client billings, payments and changes to their contract.
· Pay quarterly estimated taxes.
· Work closely with CPA and provide all documents needed to close companies at year end.
· Handle audits of workers’ compensation and general liability with insurance company.
· Work with insurance company in providing information for upcoming policy renewal.
· Monthly Job Costing.
· Provide weekly update to owners on Cash Flow, including upcoming transactions or other financial concerns of the company.
· Work with Information Technology to keep updated with software, and problems or concerns with it.
· Ensure all business licenses are current.
· Oversee Subcontractor documentation, including Subcontractor Agreements, Insurance Certificates, and other documentation
· Prepare 1099’s at year end.

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
