We are looking for an individual to join our team as a Shop Assistant at our Fort Dodge terminal. Great schedule of Monday-Friday 7-4pm and on call as needed.
Day in the Life of a Decker Shop Assistant
- Movement of company equipment locally and around Central Iowa
- Lot checks to include trailer management reporting
- Parts pickup and stocking
- Fueling of parked Reefer trailers at local customers
- Maintenance facility cleaning to include minor facility maintenance; includes outside lot
- Assist with snow removal as needed
- Assist as security with sensitive employee interactions as needed
- Miscellaneous shop duties
- Other duties as assigned
Decker Shop Assistant Must Haves
- Organized and good time management
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Valid driver’s license required
- Clean driving record
