DecksDirect is searching for an energetic 2nd Shift LTL Shipping Lead to join our fast-paced warehouse team. The 2nd Shift LTL Shipping Lead plays a key role in the receiving, evaluation, packaging, and putaway of returned products while verifying quality and accuracy while maintaining the consistency of the operational standards.
 

Responsibilities:

• Be the main contact for the facility during the 2nd shift operations
• Assist the Shipping Supervisor in executing the LTL shipping process following standard operating procedures
• Work with other Lead peers on the 2nd shift to provide support where and when necessary 
• Ensure that picking, packing, processing, and shipping of orders are being efficiently and accurately performed
• Communicate and partner with cross-functional teams to research and troubleshoot picking, packing, processing, and shipping issues 
• Ability to operate all necessary warehouse equipment to complete the tasks including WM Systems, packsize box-making machine, pallet jack/forklift preferred

Qualifications:

• High School or equivalent (preferred) 
• Ability to operate all necessary warehouse equipment including WM systems, packsize box making machine, pallet jack/forklift  
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines 
• Strong communication and verbal skills 

Position Details: 

• Full Time: 
  • Sunday-Thursday 3:30 pm to 12:00 am May to November
  • Monday-Friday 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM December to April
• Hourly / Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) 
• Reports to: Shipping Supervisor 
• Location: Whitestown, IN 
• Internal position: Not Remote
