The Junior Sales Development Representative reports to the Business Development Supervisor. The Junior Sales Development Representative is responsible for developing data gathering and research resulting in new leads for Dedicated IT.
The primary duties are as follow but are not limited to:
- Represent Dedicated IT and our partners professionally.
- Cleanse 2000 Prospects within Outreach
- Work with SDR Manager & SDR team to research prospective prospects.
- Be able to work in an office setting
Key skills required by a Junior Sales Development Representative are active listening to gauge a prospect’s needs, time management, communication, and negotiation. You’ll be successful if:
- You have an outgoing personality that allows you to engage with a stranger.
- You have great listening skills that will allow you to understand a potential client’s needs.
- You have excellent communication skills that will allow you to provide a potential new client with an accurate picture of our services as well as provide the account manager with a synopsis of the needs of the prospect.
- You have drive to reach the next level within the organization.
Junior Sales Development Representatives should have:
- A strong understanding of analytics and Outreach, Zoom Info, LinkedIn.
- A deep understanding of sales techniques and metrics.
- No fear of talking to new people, presenting to a group, attending networking events to build a prospect base.
- A desire to learn different sales training techniques, obtain certifications and read material suggested by management that will increase success in the role.
- Possess basic working knowledge of finding information through various mediums such as Google, LinkedIn, and Microsoft applications (Word/Excel/Outlook).
You will be graded on:
- Meeting your quotas:
- Quota: 2000 cleansed Prospects (Average 4-6 months)
- Results - 25 fully cleansed daily
- Pipeline - 75 accounts touched with some sort of data updated
- Activities - 225 unique data fields updated
- Fully cleanse 2000 accounts in Outreach to be considered for promotion
- Certifications – Outreach Prospector Learning Track
- Additional training – Predictable prospecting by: Tyler Donovan

Compensation
- 36k-40k based on experience
- Eligible for bonuses if KPIs are achieved
- Opportunity to earn $1 per cleansed account for primary points and $1 per account for full secondary points.
