Inventory Associate

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & KNOWLEDGE

The Inventory Associate is responsible for locating product to our storage facility.

• Follows company core values
• Assigns and places product in specific warehouse locations
• Manually counts inventory
• Enter Inventory in ERP system
• Ensures product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers
• Assists in projects within our warehouse/storage facilities
• Maintains a high level of efficiency (KPI’s)
• Reconciles inventory locations
• Fulfill inventory requests
• Follows all safety standards, which may include wearing appropriate safety gear
• Participates in department and/or company training and meetings
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Requires basic knowledge of MS Office products
• Must be able to learn and use company inventory software program
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to pass powered lift truck certification tests and drive them on a daily basis
• Effectively utilize team resources and meet deadlines
• Must be detail oriented and accurate
• Strives for personal growth and development
• Capability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change

WORKING CONDITIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Regular exposure to warehouse environment with a wide range of temperatures, odors, and noise
• Ability for close visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses, to perform tasks such as analyzing data, viewing a computer screen, reading, and/or inspection of small parts
• Frequently move about the warehouse to access product, move product, load or unload product, raise and/or lower up to 15 pounds on a regular basis, occasionally lift up to 70 (independently lift up to 45 pounds), and operate equipment and machinery (ladders, hand tools, machinery)

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
• Previous warehouse experience helpful
