What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Default Board?
This position requires the Dishwasher work in a fast-paced environment and help maintain a clean kitchen and dish area by properly washing, stocking, and sorting dishes and kitchen equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed. Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized.
· Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
· Maintains clean / dry floors throughout the shift.
· Properly washes, stacks, and stores China, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
· Changes water of machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels, and properly uses chemical dilutions.
· Maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trashcans, boxes and rinsing garbage cans. at the end of each shift.
· Maintains the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves.
· Follows the posted daily dish cleaning duties.
· Assists other duties set forth or as needed.
· Attends and satisfactorily completes all required training as assigned and required.
Education and/or Experience
· High School Diploma preferred with the ability to work a flexible schedule (late shifts, weekends, or holidays).
· Must be at least 17 or older
Requirements and Skills
· Food handler certificate required
· Ability to effectively communicate in English and Spanish
