What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Assistant position at Default Brand?
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Interact with and supply information to employees, new hires, job applicants, etc.
- Maintain confidential personnel files
- Prepare orientation materials for new employees
- Enter and maintain data in various HR software systems
- Perform various duties relative to the maintenance and processing of HR related programs
- Assist HR Generalists, HR Coordinators, and HR Manager with various projects
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of office or clerical support experience preferred
- Previous HR experience a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality
- Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time for up to 8-10 hours per day
- Must be able to use a computer for extended periods of time for up to 8-10 hours per day
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
