Our Market Associate's primary responsibility is to assist customers with purchases and provide a welcoming environment. They must maintain the store’s cleanliness, ensure shelves are stocked, inventory products, restock merchandise, and replenish supplies as needed. Other duties may include handling cash and credit card payments, creating sales reports, and implementing store promotions.
Clerks should be able to operate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale equipment. They should also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to accurately convey information about products and pricing to customers. Additionally, clerks must be prepared to handle customer concerns and complaints in a professional and diplomatic manner, ensuring that they leave satisfied.
Requirements:The requirements for this position do not require high education, but it is necessary to have basic math and reading skills. Experience in retail or customer service, which provides adequate knowledge of product handling and customer relations is preferred.
