Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse Progressive Care Unit to join our healthcare family. As a member of our team, you will provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and collaborate with other members of the healthcare delivery team to deliver quality healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and report patient condition to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
- RN licensure in Texas or compact state.
- BCLS
- ACLS upon hire or one-time grace period of 60 days for staff transitioning from med surge unit to progressive care unit.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCRN preferred
- PALS preferred
- TNCC preferred
