Description
DeLallo is seeking a Corporate Trainer. The Corporate Trainer is responsible for the design, delivery, and continuous development of training programs to increase employees’ skills and knowledge so that the employees can make a greater contribution to the company’s success. The DeLallo training program increases awareness of the Company’s history, operations, and, most importantly, products to new and existing employees with a focus on sales associates.

Responsibilities
- Develop curriculum and design training courses.
- Administer training for designated groups with the ability to deliver, project and motivate trainees through effective training methodologies, both in group and individual classroom dynamics.
- Administer training with a range of training tools and techniques including workshops, classroom lectures, videos or presentations, online learning, training manuals, one-to-one coaching, and group role-play sessions.
- Conduct needs assessment and identifies performance gaps and implements training best practices to ensure alignment with company needs.
- Collaborate with senior management and department managers to create relevant on-going course content.
- Evaluate success of training by assessing objectives and identifying future learning needs
- Utilize a variety of techniques, concepts, and development and delivery of training programs and strategies.
- Manage the learning experience consistent with company philosophy and company-wide strategy.
- Update and maintain product library of files, which include digital/electronic and physical media.
- Develop and deliver an engaging and positive learning environment for in-person, print, and online platforms.
Job Requirements
- Must possess effective learning skills in order to develop a thorough understanding of the Company’s products and services. Excellent product knowledge will ensure you develop effective training and respond confidently to detailed questions during training sessions.
- Thorough knowledge of adult learning techniques.
- Ability to assess adult learning and development.
- Standard and creative writing skills.
- Engagement and public speaking skills.
- Ability to organize and manage time effectively.
- Active listening and critical thinking skills.
- Effective judgement and decision making.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Technologically intermediate/advanced skills in MS products – Word/Power Point/Excel.
- Ability to prepare and cook using simple (chop, cut, sautee, roast) kitchen skills to properly showcase product features.
Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree required or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;
- Training & Development in a corporate environment preferred;
- Training & Development of field sales reps preferred;
- Minimum of one year in instructional design, curriculum development and training delivery or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
Physical requirements
- Light Work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move around computers, projectors, training supplies and materials;
- Standing. Particularly for extended periods of time when training;
- Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken work. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly;
- Food Preparation. Opening packages, cans, and bags. Basic Kitchen Skills to conduct product tastings
