Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the Database Marketing department.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Responsibilities:
- Direct analytic processes to optimize marketing efforts and further support business decisions.
- Conduct statistical analysis and leverage SQL-based relational database programming to extract data for analysis and decision making.
- Partner with the marketing team on a variety of cross-channel marketing analytics projects.
- Create targeted campaigns using the most effective communication channel; improve targeting and marketing efficiencies to increase ROI.
- Test and validate raw data, analytics method, statistical models, and target lists, ensuring that they are accurate for campaign usage.
- Generate marketing reports, proformas, postformas, provide campaign insights, effectiveness, and recommendations for future efforts and ROI.
- Monitor and evaluate new technology for data quality.
- Ensure compliance is followed at a company, local, state, and federal level with regards to the maintenance of the marketing database.
- Must be able to manage multiple campaigns deployed via email, direct mail.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the market; identifies needs for new products and services and makes recommendations to leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, casino marketing, computer science, or related field preferred.
- At least five years' relevant work experience is required.
- Experience in creating pro and post forma, forecasting, prize matrices etc.
- Previous experience with SQL or equivalent required.
- Working knowledge of predictive modeling, and machine learning preferred.
- Organized with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects with concurrent deadlines and competing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Thorough understanding of file structures and design, information retrieval techniques, file access methods, and database controls and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must be able to obtain a Gaming License.
- Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach.
- Noise level may be moderate to high during busy times.
