The Opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking a full-time Hotel Front Desk Lead to join our team at Kalaloch Lodge in Forks, Washington. As part of our Front Desk team, you are the first line of communication for guests and the hub of all communication for the property. Minimum pay rate: $16.50 / hour

Responsibilities
- Leading the work of office, administrative, or customer service employees to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems.
- Providing associates with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems or in resolving escalated complaints or disputes.
- Coach team members to continuously improve.
- Support leaders in the preparation and issuing of work schedules, deadlines, and duty assignments for office or administrative staff.
- Coordinating with housekeeping department, as needed.
- Hard assign daily arrivals to hotel rooms.
- Check and balance the daily figures, post room, and tax charges on guest accounts.
- Assists daily operations at the front office, providing functional guidance and directions to the team.
- Implements and maintains Delaware North policies and procedures.
- Assists in training staff to keep operations running smoothly.
- Acts in a liaison role to facilitate communication between the team, guests, and management.
- Ensures group blocks are set up properly, key packets with meal tickets are set up and proper billing procedures are followed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Possess basic math skills and computer experience.
- Possess experience in operating a variety of office equipment.
- Good interpersonal communication skills in person and by phone required.
- Must be able to multitask, function in a professional manner under pressure from guests and/or supervisors.
- Possess problem sensitivity; recognize the potential for a problem and apply general rules to solve specific problems for guests.
- Able to maintain confidential guest information and comply with PCI standards.
- Read, write, and speak English clearly so others can understand.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment and have prior customer service experience.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to walk, bend, twist, crouch, push, pull and climb stairs throughout shift.
