We’re currently searching for an Operations Manager (remote) to join our team to oversee the day-to-day operations of Patina’s partnership with the PGA. Our ideal candidate is skilled in multiple areas including human resources, finance, and catering operations. You’re a trusted leader, able to build and maintain effective working relationships with great care and responsibility and will collaborate with your peers to increase operational efficiency within the team and for our client.
Responsibilities- Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the team.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
- Grow the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the team’s internal capacity with the needs of our client remaining top-of-mind.
- Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives.
- Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget.
- Track staffing requirements, hiring new associates as needed and assisting in their training.
- Regularly report to leadership on areas to be improved, successes, and the overall state of the account and relationship with our client, the PGA.
- Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
- Oversee materials and inventory management.
- Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management.
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration, or related field.
- 3+ years’ proven experience in an operations management position for large events.
- Strong budget development and oversight skills.
- Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service.
- Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes.
- Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience working in hospitality / events industry is preferred.
