ISE Chief of Staff

Join us as a Chief of Staff on our Integrated Solution Engineering team in Hopkinton, Massachusetts to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.


What you’ll achieve

As a Chief of Staff, you will be responsible for operational and communication plans, execution and smooth governance ISE Staff.

You will:

You will work with ISE Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to coordinate work on ISE level projects that require cross-team work but are, as yet, un-related to regular engineering functions.


  • Manage key meetings for ISE leader and his senior leadership including building agendas, speaker readiness and meeting management and follow ups. Some of these meetings include:
    • ISE Staff Meetings
    • Engineering Program Reviews
    • ISE All Hands Meetings
    • SLT Offsites
    • Planning, Budget, and Spend Reviews with Finance leads
  • Coordinate with ISE, leadership, HR, and comms to assist development of executive communications and ISE level content.
  • Work with senior leadership to track organizational metrics and KPIs and their reporting.
  • Work with HR, Finance, and senior leaders to track and manage org level topics such as Inspire Awards, HC, Mandatory Training Compliance, budget and spend, Tell Dell Action Plans, etc. and present updates at staff meetings.
  • Represent ISE in meetings when required and act as ISE liaison.

Essential Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Dell’s processes and ways of getting work done at Dell.
  • A balance of technical and business acumen to enable participation in various problem statements.
  • Possesses excellent data analysis skills that produce insights that drive business results and ability to clearly define KPIs.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous situations, and to translate to more specific actions for team members.
  • Ability to influence VP , gain support for ideas, proposals, projects, and solutions in ways consistent with the values of the organization.

Desirable Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and in written.
