The Dell Security & Resiliency organization manages security risk across all aspects of Dell's business. What you'll achieve
As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our products and applications including open-source components consumed and produced using security best practices. This individual will join Dell's Product & Application Security Organization as a member of our Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) team. The SDL program is a strategic program for consistently building demonstrably resilient software across Dell's diverse product and technology portfolio - ranging from firmware to cloud-based solutions.
This position is responsible for driving and delivering SDL services and capabilities; and leading a pan-Dell open-source security assurance program by identifying requirements, creating execution plans, driving execution against the plan, proactively mitigating risks building consensus and alignment among cross-functional team members and reporting updates to stakeholders.

You will:
- Manage definition, development, and releases of Secure Development Lifecycle and Open-Source Software Security
- Manage complex technical programs in security with significant bottom-line impact
- Build strong partnerships and collaborate across global teams, product owners and subject matter experts to execute the secure development lifecycle and open-source software program strategy. Track the delivery of projects within the agreed timelines
- Manage challenges that typically impede projects such as: competing priorities, project scoping, scope creep, limited resources, timelines etc.; and escalate to management as necessary
- Track milestones, tasks, resources, and priorities for each project and communicate updates to management and stakeholders.
- Provide solid reporting on the project risks and status to the leadership teams on a weekly/monthly and quarterly readouts

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, Risk Management, Information Systems, or a related field, with 8 years relevant experience; or equivalent professional experience
- 5 years of related experience in technical program management and/or project management in a technology/software company and in the following skills
- Managing technical projects for large-scale software applications across cross-functional team
- Building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Ability to dialogue with engineering
Desirable Requirements
- Experience with Agile software development methodology
- SME with secure development lifecycle or product security experience and one or more certifications is a plus: PMP or ITIL v3
