Work you may do
- Make sure content is consistent, conversational, clear, helpful, and empathetic, with 508 accessibility and plain language guidelines serving as principles for best practice standards
- Execute day-to-day content activities, including content inventorying, content auditing, content modeling, information architecture design, UX writing, and long-form copywriting.
- Coordinate with Design teams on user research, wireframe input and mockup reviews.
- Coordinate with SEO team during page labeling, taxonomy design, and copywriting.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
- 1 years of leading content strategy (should be a combination of project delivery as an individual contributor, workstream leadership, departmental oversight, and client consultation)
- Experience in writing and editing with a growing ability to work independently and in groups as needed
- Proven ability to follow established standards and maintain brand continuity
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your experience, storytelling, and design presentation skills
- Experience participating in the following workstreams: Content Audit, Digital Content Strategy, Copywriting, Information Architecture, Web Content Management as they relate to Product Development and Service Delivery
- Experience supporting new web portal development and enhancements to an existing public-facing web application
- Experience coordinating with developers to implement and test designs throughout agile timelines
- Experience communicating complex ideas graphically within a complex environment (public sector preferred)

Salary : $75,300 - $95,300
