Work You’ll Do
Drive software development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams, and identify changes in scope. Drive the evaluation of technology needs, develop customized applications, and draft technical and functional design documentation. Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for engagements. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the components in the design. Gain exposure to multiple industries and service lines while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by engagement follow-on opportunities.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Designing and developing applications using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful Web Services, Spring Web Model-View-Controller (MVC), Microservices, Angular, Java Server Pages (JSP), and React to meet functional needs for software applications;
- Utilizing Unified Modeling Language (UML), Use Case, Class, and Sequence diagrams to convert business requirements into development models;
- Delivering full life cycle Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices-based solutions by leveraging Agile, Waterfall, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies across Web, Mobile, and Cloud architectures;
- Delivering and deploying custom developed applications for clients, including prototyping, code development, modularization, Unit Testing, configuration and defect management, and production deployment, utilizing Git, Apache Maven, Jenkins, Bitbucket, JUnit, Mockito, and Elasticsearch;
- Performing software development in Eclipse, IntelliJ, and Visual Studio (VS) Code development environments and Web Service Testing by employing JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), Extensible Markup Language (XML), Postman, SoapUI, and Swagger;
- Designing and maintaining coding standards to enhance application development using SonarQube and Ada;
- Performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues through use of Jira and Confluence; and
- Performing data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and systems development life cycle (SDLC), utilizing PostgreSQL, MySQL, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Spring Data Java Persistence API (JPA), Hibernate Object–Relational Mapping (ORM), and Tableau.
