Compliance Review team
We are part of the Ethics & Compliance group within R&BP. Our team performs a critical risk-management function for the Deloitte US Firms by evaluating and assessing noncompliance matters related to Deloitte's Independence and other compliance areas
Work You'll do
- Help to manage a team of professionals in the US and India.
- Review noncompliance cases prepared by Analysts, in accordance with firm policies and internal guidance to ensure fairness and consistency.
- Supervise, train, and coach Analysts and Senior Analysts while providing career coaching and guidance. Identify, manage, and execute potential enhancements to existing processes to improve productivity, quality, communication, and teamwork.
- Work closely with the Managing Directors, Senior Managers, and Managers to establish the team's strategy and to achieve goals and objectives. Draft and issue Reprimand memos and emails. Support the execution of ad hoc projects that may include the preparation of reports for leadership, due diligence analysis, root cause analysis, reconciliations, and executive summaries.
- Manage multiple activities and projects of varying complexity simultaneously.
- Contribute to the success of the team by sharing best practices.
- Collaborate with different teams within R&BP on various projects.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail and strong technical, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Sound leadership skills (self-starter, results driven, etc.) with the ability to stay focused and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with time sensitive deliverables.
- Ability to think both strategically with strong complex problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage change and ambiguity.
- Ability to handle high volume and complexity of cases and prioritize accordingly.
- Ability to influence others, build strong relationships and networks.
- High proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, and Teams.
- High degree of professionalism and discretion with ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Preferred
- Prior public accounting or legal experience.
- Knowledge of PCAOB/SEC Independence rules.
- Prior experience with Tableau.
- Experience interacting with or managing database-driven applications in support of business processes.
- Experience of managing people and teams.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $78,570 to $161,330.
