Work you'll do/Responsibilities
You will determine processes and automation tools to reduce IT spend and increase efficiencies on multiple projects within the Healthcare domain.
You will design and build Pega solutions based on business requirements, leveraging best practices, and adhering to architectural standards. Develop and implement Pega applications, including designing application interfaces, data models, business rules, workflows, and user interfaces.
The ideal candidate will have experience integrating Pega applications with AWS services, leveraging the power of the cloud to enhance system functionality, scalability, and performance. Experience with Pega 8.x in providing technical training and support.
In this job, you will collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze complex business processes, and translate them into technical solutions. Conduct code reviews, perform unit testing, and ensure the quality and performance of developed Pega applications. Define and implement best practices for Pega development, including coding standards, design patterns, and software engineering principles.
Responsibilities include m onitoring and troubleshooting production issues, providing timely resolution, and identifying opportunities for system optimization and improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, infrastructure teams, and QA teams, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of Pega projects. Provide technical leadership and support in Pega, and meetings with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications
Required
- 3 years' experience as a Pega Systems Developer including design and implementation of Pega applications
- 3 years' hands-on experience in Pega Platform, including PegaRULES Process Commander (PRPC), Case Management, UI development, integrations, and data management. Hands-on experience with Pega decisioning, business rules and data models.
- 3 years' experience with AWS services and deploying and managing Pega applications on the AWS cloud
- 2 years experience in consulting
- Experience with Pega 8.x in providing technical training and support
- In-depth understanding of Pega development best practices, design patterns, and software engineering principles
- Strong understanding with specific technology relevant to the team and Pega 8.x framework and best practices
- Solid understanding of Business Process Management and Customer Relationship Management concepts
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred
- 2 years experience in healthcare domain
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex requirements and propose innovative solutions.
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
- Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
Salary : $97,100 - $123,000
