Forklift/Turret/Cherry Picker/Reach DIRECT HIRE!

Job description:

Direct Hire Forklift Positions! Delta Apparel specializes in selling casual and athletic products through a variety of distribution channels and distribution tiers, including independent and specialty stores, department stores, mid-tier and mass chains, e-retailers, sporting goods and outdoor retailers, and the U.S. military. We design and internally manufacture the majority of our products, and have distribution facilities strategically located throughout the U.S. to better serve our customers.

We are looking for Experienced Quality Forklift associates with a strong sense of detail and efficiency to work a Full Time shift, with availability to work overtime and occasional weekends. Turret / Swing Reach experience is required, Slip Sheet attachment experience would be very helpful. Must be highly dependable and flexible to work additional hours when needed. We do work occasionally on the weekend.

Flexibility to work a full-time shift .

Must have verifiable experience with Swing Reach / Turret Truck & Order Pickers. Slip Sheet experience very helpful.

$17.50 per hour based on verifiable experience.

Specializing in specific areas such as: Picking, Shipping, Receiving, Replenishment, Materials Handling and Cycle Counting

• Must be detailed oriented, with a sense of urgency and focus on accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and effectively manage workload.
• Experience with basic computer knowledge, (email, opening files, Excel) is a plus!
• Must be flexible in work schedule including weekends and OT as needed up to 12 hours a day through the Holiday season.
• Excellent attendance a must!

Work Environment:

• Required to stand on your feet for extended periods of time with walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, stooping, crouching, bending, reaching above the shoulders, twisting, crawling, and kneeling as needed.
• Physical environment includes noise, heat, cold, and dust with certain areas that are climate controlled.
• Must be capable of lifting a maximum of 45 LBS.

Education:

High School Graduate or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
