Instructors are responsible for establishing and promoting an effective learning environment to maximize student learning. Instructors will be assigned to teach architecture courses as needed in the Business & Technology Division at Delta College.
The primary responsibility will be preparing for and teaching the ARC design and AutoCAD courses. The adjunct will also be asked to participate in the review of the current curriculum and help to reshape the ARC program.

- Use of email, internet-based resources, and common Office software
- Ability to teach in a variety of formats, including incorporating online learning systems
- Understanding of ADA requirements and willingness to create accessible materials
- Effective interpersonal skills

- Willing and able to share their expertise in the architecture area

- Board drawing
- AutoCAD suite
- Revit
- Residential design
- Commercial design
- Fundamentals of structural design
ABILITY TO TEACH THE FOLLOWING COURSES:
- ARC-105 Architectural Drafting I
- ARC-106 Architectural Drafting II
- ARC-205 Architectural Drafting III
- ARC-206 Architectural Drafting IV
- ARC-211 Elements of Structural Design
- ARC-214 Architectural AutoCAD 3D Basics
- ARC-224 Building Information Modeling
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Architecture
Additional Experiences Considered
- Licensed Architect
- Teaching experience in Architectural Drafting, AutoCAD, Revit, Architectural design – both residential and commercial.
- Online teaching experience
