Job Posting for Social Work - Behavioral Therapist - PT at Delta Health Alliance
The Behavioral Therapist is responsible for providing medically necessary mental health treatment services to patients experiencing social, emotional, behavioral and psychiatric issues. This individual will provide assessments, treatment planning, and individual, family and/or group therapy for patients as well as be responsible for collaborative case management and monitoring and supervision of assigned patient cases.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree along with professional counselor licensure or clinical social worker
- Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in substance abuse and general therapy
- A valid MS driver’s license and auto insurance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Evaluate behavioral and emotional issues of patient and develop specific behavior modification plan.
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments.
- Conduct family assessments.
- Identify presenting problem and develop comprehensive treatment plan.
- Provide individual, family and group therapy in accordance with patient's treatment plan.
- Observe and document treatment interventions, behaviors and patient progression.
- Develop and maintain a current list of resources that include self-help and support groups to ensure comprehensive services are available to patient and family.
- Other duties as assigned.
