JOB SUMMARY
The beautiful Delta Hotels by Marriott Anaheim is looking for a Sales Manager to sell the recently renovated 382 guest room property with 36,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor meeting space. Located conveniently close to the Anaheim Convention Center, Disneyland Resort, Angel Stadium and the Honda Center, the Hotel has a great mix of groups and business.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
REQUIRED:
· CI/TY proficiency
· Previous experience working in hotel sales (Sales Coordinator or Sales Manager role)
· Knowledge of property-specific business segments (group, events, BT, social, catering)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Respond to RFPs in a timely manner in CI/TY, Cvent, SimpleView, etc.
· Proactively solicit all business segments to drive revenue
· Source past account leads and prospect new business
· Drive customer satisfaction through daily interactions (e.g., solicitations, correspondence, account calls, in-person meetings, etc.)
- Conduct site inspections and prepare original, creative proposals tailored to address the needs of and to impress the customer
· Strong negotiator and closer
· Leverage all available sales channels, (e.g., marriott.com, group and transient intermediaries, field sales, etc.), to optimize sales revenues
· Services customers to obtain and grow share of the account and handles customer care issues.
· Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.
