Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in bartending and possess knowledge of Square POS systems. It is important to set off a guest’s experience at Deluxx Fluxx by feeling welcomed. Our mission is to interact with guests and give them the highest level of hospitality possible while quickly and accurately making and providing them with beverages. We value each individual interaction. We work quickly, but are mindful of our tone of voice and delivery pace. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages following club recipes and customer preferences
- Operate the Square POS system to process orders and payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with patrons in a friendly manner
- Monitor alcohol consumption to ensure safety
Requirements:
- Previous experience in nightclub bartending or related roles
- Knowledge of food service, food handling, and food safety protocols
- Proficiency in operating a cash register
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse customer requests
- Familiarity with retail math for handling transactions accurately
- Proficient in basic math for measuring ingredients and calculating orders
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in a fast-paced bar or nightclub environment is preferred.
-Ability to stay active and on your feet for the duration of the shift.
-Ability to go up and down stairs.
-Ability to lift heavy objects.
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
-Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
-Must be able to work nights and weekends.
