Job Description
Software Engineer - React/Angular
12 months contract
Richmond, VA (Hybrid 2-3 days onsite)
- Commercial Banking area handling SF Service Cloud and need to integrate with some downstream applications
- Java side: need to build API’s for SF application
- UI side need to expand SF capabilities outside commercial area, so building a portal consuming data from SF based on user actions
- Angular:
- 7-10 years with React (current version of React is 17) - or Angular 12
- Self-sufficient with AWS deployments AWS: ECs, EC2, Lambdas
- Capital One experience a big plus (knowledge of one pipeline)
- Working on a team that also works on Amazon Kinetic app, so knowledge in this would be great
- Platform is a micro-front end
- Work with Product team on requirements and UI will be built using React framework. That said, Angular is fine, but React is preferred
Software Engineer - React
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop complex applications in React / Micro front end frameworks
- Develop and support complex AWS infrastructure delivering applications
- Communicate across Capital One teams to help build web portal applications leveraging enterprise frameworks.
- Develop and support Amazon Connect contact flows, integration with other systems via REST apis, AWS lambdas.
- Help to ensure a well-managed posture across CML bank, identifying and resolving application vulnerabilities, delivering on Enterprise Tech Backlog
- Provide support across the team and ensure timely delivery of features
- Work closely within the team to help storyboard features
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent coding skills in both Angular and React
- Strong understanding and application of AWS services
- Experience with Capital One managed One Pipeline a plus
- Demonstrated technical proficiency
- Demonstrated problem solving for complex issues
- Demonstrated design thinking for complex features
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, either at the team level or project level
