Technology Supervisor
Job Purpose:
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage Information Technology and computer systems
- Establish a culture of technological excellence while maintaining a strong focus on operational sustainability
- Take a leadership role in shaping technology-supported at the firm
- Partner with the clinical teams to drive adoption and effective use of technology through innovative programs
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
- Oversee the IT vendor relationship and have regularly scheduled audits to review outcomes
- Document policies and procedures for change control, communications, documentation, etc.
- Oversee development and testing of comprehensive disaster recovery plans for all systems
- Establish and maintain appropriate monitoring and reporting tools, identify key performance metrics, and leverage data to inform development and training activities
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
- Oversee the IT project portfolio and participate as necessary to ensure timely delivery of quality products and services
- Develop and track the IT department budget
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology required, master’s degree preferred
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in proving technology solutions.
- Experience in a healthcare setting a plus
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and installation
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions from complex technical material and other inputs
- Experience with process improvement and documentation
- Excellent project management and organization skills
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills
- Highly collaborative and able to build trusting relationships across a diverse workforce
- Adept at leading change in a complex and geographically dispersed organization
- Capable leader, advisor, mentor, and coach; someone who motivates and inspires
