Job Description
We are currently looking for a Corporate Controller of DENSO INTERNATIONAL EUROPE BV. In this position you are responsible for the Management of the Treasury, Tax and Reporting sections. You will also be involved in M&A projects.
DENSO International Europe BV acts as the shared service center for the European DENSO Manufacturing & Sales organization. We provide Treasury services for whole EU (25 companies) and Reporting of 7 Sales entities, as well as Taxation Compliance which includes projects to mitigate Corporate Income Tax risks as per BEPS and PE requirements.

You report to the EU Director F&A located in the EU HQ in Amsterdam.
TASKS
In the position as Corporate Controller you are responsible for:
- Responsible for European Treasury operations & compliance
- Responsible for EU Intercompany funding and EU FX risk management
- Lead Treasury / Cash Management projects
- Management of the statutory annual accounts of the operating and holding entities
- Compliance corporate tax NL, managing tax return (fiscal unity)
- Manage EU Taxation compliance as per Global Tax Policy and BEPS requirements
- Management of Periodical Reporting to Global Headquarters in Japan
- Coordination with accountants, operating companies and headquarters in Japan
- Responsible for audits (JSOX, Internal Audit, external year-end audit)
- Be involved in M&A projects in dynamic automotive environment
- Provide ad-hoc financial analyses and management reports
- Set/agree section and individual targets and evaluate staff performance.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analyses and management reports
- Lead & Provide management support to all direct reports
Qualifications
The ideal candidate we are looking for has the following characteristics:
Education and work experience:
- A relevant and completed HBO or University education
- 8 to 12 years of relevant work experience, preferably gained in an international large sized company with complex structure
Knowledge, skills and competences:
- High Team Leadership / Management ability & ownership
- Knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS, experience in preparing statutory annual accounts and (statutory) audits
- Thorough knowledge of and experience with financial business processes
- Knowledge of and experience with Treasury Management and Operations
- Strong analytical skills, knowledge of reporting tools
- Project Management skills
- Enjoy to work with different cultures in an international environment
- Strong operational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and to communicate with all levels within the organization
- Attention to detail with a flexible and pragmatic attitude
You are available for 40 hours a week.
