Reporting directly to the agency President, the Group Head of Paid Social will be responsible for managing a large department of highly-skilled paid social professionals. This individual will set the team structure, shape team culture and be responsible for communicating macro trends in paid media to clients and internal teams. This role requires deep digital subject matter expertise, team leadership experience and strong operational skills. Executive-level client management and presentation skills are critical competencies in this role as well.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Experience managing and inspiring large teams
- Macro level knowledge of paid social/paid media/DTC space, as well as a deep understanding of working cross-functionally with creative teams
- Ability to re-think/operationalize the agency in a way that makes the most sense for their growing and evolving client base (standardize briefing, planning & optimization processes as well)
- Actively participate in new business pitches; act as a Paid Social SME for current and potential clients
- Help drive more effective media operations integration and best practices with dentsu’s Media and creative teams to ensure 100% error-free activation
- Support agency President and leadership team in recruiting, hiring, and career-pathing of next-generation media leaders
- Contribute to product and capability development, as well as overall value proposition and acquisition strategy
Qualifications
- 12 years' of experience working at digital media agencies, with a focus on paid media
- Experience overseeing a large team
- Data driven, expert level performance media experience is required - both in platform and knowledge around broader industry trends
- An entrepreneurial spirit, desire to "change the game", and a self-starter
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, energetic team environment

Additional Information
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $136-210K. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
