As our Energy Efficiency Specialist, you will have the opportunity to:
· Develop, implement, and oversee the state's Energy Demand Program, including contract management and program monitoring.
· Lead long-range planning for future energy projects, incorporating complex statistical analyses to identify opportunities for improvement in energy consumption systems.
· Serve as the state’s subject matter expert on the Demand Response program, facilitating crucial outreach and training initiatives with executive-level stakeholders.
· Represent the State of California at national conferences and collaborate with major entities like Cal ISO, Cal OES, and the California Energy Commission to promote grid stability and compliance.
Desired Skills and Experience
· Exceptional ability to manage complex, high-profile projects independently.
· Proven expertise in energy management systems and energy efficiency programs.
· Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging effectively with various levels of government and external agencies.
