In this role, you will oversee the clerical, administrative and business support activities for the District 12 Office located in Region 5. A day in the life: Perform receptionist duties and answer questions from the public, other agencies and internal staff by phone, in person or via email. Schedule meetings and make arrangements for conferences. Gather road and weather information from field crews and distribute to local radio stations. Relay information to ODOT personnel and law enforcement regarding stranded motorists. Maintain accurate employee files. Effectively use radio and email to communicate with other units. Review and process invoices. Assist with time cards, enter data into payroll system. Work is performed in an office environment and may require overtime and occasional travel. Ability to maintain office hours during severe weather or traffic conditions is required. What we need: Two (2) years of general clerical experience, one year of which included typing, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR An associate's degree; OR Graduation from a private school of business with a certificate AND one (1) year of general clerical experience.
