What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Operations (HR) Specialist position at Deposco?
Our Talent Team is looking for a passionate, engaging and data driven Talent Operations Specialist to join the team. The Talent Operations Specialist will provide functional support to the Talent Team, as well as, the team members working in the Alpharetta office, across the US and globally. We are looking for an HR generalist who is dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service. The Talent Ops Specialist will support functions including onboarding, payroll, maintaining the HRIS, immigration, and reporting.
\n- Onboarding. Evolve New Light Experience, coordinate start dates with the Talent Team, maintain communication with new hires from the “offer accepted” stage through training and ensure new hire paperwork is completed.
- Immigration. Take lead on the immigration sponsorship process with clear communication to our International Lights (H1-B Transfers, Lottery, PERM, etc.)
- HRIS. Own and maintain the HRIS system and process any changes including team member changes (personal information changes, salary, title, team leader, etc.), new hires and transitions etc.
- Payroll/Benefits. Assist with administration of semi-monthly payroll and benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, COBRA, life, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, gym reimbursements, and 401k plans.
- Data/Reporting. Prepare reporting packages for current headcount, changes in ratios, and other data facilitation.
- Special. Identify & implement opportunities for talent operational efficiency improvements and contribute to other special projects.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-3 years Human Resources experience in a professional environment required
- o 1 year of Onboarding experience is preferred
- o 1 year experience processing Payroll is preferred
- Software: Experience with Talent platforms and payroll processing software a plus (including Paycor, Dayforce/Ceridian) and data reporting Domo, etc.
- Knowledge of benefits programs such as 401k, medical, dental or vision plans
- Experience facilitating immigration related matters including H1-B and green card processing
- Understanding of Microsoft applications including Excel & PowerPoint
- Excellent people development and relationship management skills with a focus on team member experience
- Ability to self-start and self-direct in an ambiguous environment
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic, flexible and a fast-changing environment
- Excellent, clear, and concise communication skills (written and spoken)
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
- Exhibit strict confidentiality and discreetly handle sensitive information
