For our office in Berlin, we are looking for an experienced G/L Accountant (m/w/d) who wants to work at one of the fastest-growing digital agencies in Europe. As a General Ledger/ Accountant (m/w/d), you contribute to the accounting transaction preparation, analysis thereof and reconciliation processes of various business teams. In this role, you feel comfortable preparing proactive analyses and you interact with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Correct and timely monthly/annual closing
- Providing business stakeholders with the accounting information and relevant calculations
- Involved in various projects like the implementation of new financial systems or the integration of acquisitions;
- Support with the documentation for the annual audit.
- Support with the local German compliance and reporting requirements
- Improvement of current accounting processes

WHERE
- Berlin
YOU
- Have at least 3-4 years of experience in a similar position or consulting;
- Have mastered day-to-day accounting tasks such as bank transaction processing and reconciliation, purchase invoice processing and reconciliation, payment batch preparation and more;
- Have experience in financial accounting software, such as Oracle Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP
- Feel comfortable building and maintaining international relationships with our business teams;
- Being interested in presenting in front of smaller groups
- Experience with work in progress and deferred revenue is a plus;
- Are an Excel superstar;
- Speak and write English fluently, German knowledge is a strong plus.
