In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating all aspects of the golf operation ensuring members and guests have an exceptional experience. Manage the golf course hourly staff including the Outside Services Supervisor, Assistant Golf Professionals, Outside Services Professionals, and Player Assistants.
The ideal candidate will bring great energy, teamwork, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. At least 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Golf Professional. Previous employment at a PGA accredited golf operation. Proven track record with management skills and the ability to manage an operation. Prior experience in ForeTees, Golf Genius, and Total E (Point-of-Sale) preferred.

JOB DETAILS
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Golf Professional in facilitating all aspects of golf operations and managing a team of 10-20 teammates.
- Assist member and guests with pre-golf check-in, special orders, policy information, and monitoring of daily golf shop operations.
- Communicate regularly with the Head Golf Professional, Director of Golf, Tournament Director, Retail and F&B Teams, Outside Services and Player Assistants regarding daily operations and special events.
- Prepare weekly schedule.
- Assist in the execution of tournaments.
- Monitor daily retail and green fee sales.
- Analyze and define daily golf shop receipts.
- Manage pace of play.
- Oversee the golf car fleet and club rental sets.
- Coach, counsel, and train teammates.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Required to work in an outdoor working environment – Regularly
- Exposed to extreme temperatures and inclement weather (from 20 to 110 degrees) – Regularly
- Required to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Typical schedule – Sunrise to late afternoon, 5 days per week.
- Required to stand for long periods of time.
- Required to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds – Frequently
