Our new Executive Producer will play a role redefining content production at Designit and will partner with our leadership team to shape the future of our production capabilities. This senior level role requires prior experience in social and digital advertising, transcreation, asset creation, and content production, as well as an understanding of what is needed to make first-rate projects come to life.
Would you like to...
- Shape and roll out the vision for the next chapter of our Production offering, including auditing our current practices and capabilities
- Participate in the development of integrated solutions that leverage agency offerings and are mutually beneficial for the client and the agency
- Focus on leading the production of integrated projects geared to deliver video, stills, and innovative ideas (knowledge of social and video production is a must)
- Lead a small team of producers and manage workflow and assignments across the team
- Roll up your sleeves and oversee all aspects of production on your own projects, as well as provide oversight and mentorship for the producers on the team
- Plan the entire production process for an array of video/film projects in support of our consumer-facing brands and our internal-facing communications (awareness of Experiential project is a plus)
- Work with creative colleagues to ensure their creative vision is brought to life across a variety of tactics/media (television, audio, OLV, social, online banners, etc.) and ensure that production quality values are met
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of timelines and budgets across the production team
- Build relationships with, book, and communicate with production companies, directors, editors, animators, recording studios, post houses, freelancers, etc. to ensure every aspect of a production is on time, on budget, and on point
- Provide input and options to Creative Team leads for video director and other vendor selection as needed
- Prepare bid packages, generate estimates, and build workback schedules
- Secure client approvals on scope, estimates, schedules, and overages
- Keep creative practitioners updated and inspired by sharing the latest in production companies, talent, techniques, and technologies
- Research trends and best practices to provide ongoing inspiration and reference across emerging technologies and new media channels, always seeking innovative solutions and production methods to impact active and future work
- Establish and build positive relationships with high-level clients and provide them with first-class support
- Lead new business content production proposals and guide the development, writing, and presentation of incremental proposals, scopes of work, schedules, and staffing plans as they relate to solutions
- Work together with our Account and Project Management Teams to build and maintain effective client relationships, ensuring that all clients’ needs are heard, understood, and addressed in a timely way
- Collaborate with our Account and Project Management Teams to ensure clear communication to clients for the program regarding roles and responsibilities, scope, budget, schedules, and status/action items
- Ensure the production team is meeting regularly and communicating across disciplines (Project Management, Creative, Strategy, Marketing, and Accounts) to optimize collaboration and ensure deadlines are met
- Participate in creative brainstorms to generate ideas for clients
We would like you to have...
- 10 years of total production experience, including 7 years producing video/film in an ad agency environment with client facing experience
- A passion for complex digital, social, content-based, and experiential projects
- Expertise in global campaign management
- A strong understanding of and experience in managing current production approaches in digital, social, video
- Proficiency in communicating with vendors and staff to properly scope and manage project components
- An excellent understanding of the industry, production, landscape, and cultural trends, and great network of vendors and specialists in various relevant disciplines
- Strong organizational, collaborative, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proven strategic agility and the ability to pivot regarding client requests
