What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist (FT) position at Desoto Memorial Hospital?

Requirements:
  • The Phlebotomist/Laboratory Assistant must be proficient in venipuncture of patients of all ages. 
  • This person will prepare specimens for testing, enter the necessary information into the computer, take telephone calls, distribute, fax, or mail laboratory reports.
  • Must work one night per week and two 12hr days.
  • Certification required.
  • BLS certification is required.

Salary : $34,800 - $44,100
