The Account Manager Trainee will support and eventually manage a territory providing industrial pumps and systems used in industrial, automotive, food, municipal, and construction markets.
Position Summary

The incumbent will provide territory support in the sales function to an existing customer base comprised of industrial, food, automotive, municipal, and construction accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains the existing customer base and developing profitable new business through sales to competitive accounts and new market applications within the territory
- Solicits customer feedback
- Supports digital marketing efforts
- Actively builds strong business relationships with customers, peers, and management, to maximize effectiveness in the position.
- Effectively manages priorities in the territory by concentrating on profitability and revenue with customers
- Identifies opportunities to present competitive or alternate products profitably, if such situations exist.
- Identifies and communicates short-term and long-term impacts on sales and profits by gaining and sharing market knowledge that could be critical to effective planning.
- Maintains confidentiality of privileged company and employee information.
- Maintains adequate records for the conducting of territory and division business.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in related field
Level of Experience
- Some sales or technical sales/support experience
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills;
- Convincing presentation talents
- Computer aptitude (MS Office/Outlook, internet prospecting)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
