Overview

The U.S. Credit Risk Management (CRM) Portfolio Management (US CRM PM) team complements the Deutsche Bank Group CRM Portfolio Management function by managing and monitoring credit risk across the Deutsche Bank Combined U.S. Operations (CUSO) portfolios. Key responsibilities include managing risk appetite and credit concentration risk along counterparty, country, industry, and asset class dimensions as well as the preparation of CUSO-specific portfolio reports.

You will Ensure operational delivery and thorough analysis of monthly US CRM portfolio reports used by regional senior management to manage and monitor credit risk across Deutsche Bank’s legal entities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze portfolio reports to determine credit risk movements in counterparties, industries, countries, and asset classes. Prepare executive summaries for the portfolio reports

• Engage and lead discussions with control and support functions across the Bank

• Document meeting minutes and action points as needed

• Respond and prioritize ad-hoc requests from management, auditors, or regulators

• Provide oversight to the annual update and maintenance of the US CRM Reporting Key Operating Procedures

Your Skills and Experience:

• Relevant experience in a reporting and control function (e.g., risk/finance/reporting) for a large financial institution

• Strong process improvement skills. Able to troubleshoot and propose solutions. Willingness to own investigations and communicate findings

• Excellent data analysis skills. Confident in managing and analyzing large amounts of information with attention to detail

• Strong writing skills to develop executive commentary and summaries across multiple reporting items. Excellent time management and prioritization skills, ability to create and follow a schedule to meet deadlines

• Knowledge of credit risk concepts such as limits, concentrations, default probability, loss-given-default, and other credit risk metrics
