Your key responsibilities

  • Client coverage. Work with senior salespeople to cover and add value for our institutional client base while driving revenue for the firm

  • Client engagement. Support client marketing and engagement efforts through both traditional and creative / forward-thinking avenues

  • Client relationships. Drive ongoing partnership and forge your own relationships with key institutional clients, understanding their strategic goals and how DB can support them

  • Product expertise. Through hands-on experience and training, develop Fixed Income markets expertise and understanding of the wide array of FIC products offered by the firm

  • Trade ideas. Work closely with trading desks to evaluate trading opportunities and generate trade ideas for clients

  • Solutions. Partner with colleagues across Sales, Trading and Structuring to design strategic solutions tailored to client needs

  • Client lifecycle. Support all aspects of the client lifecycle alongside colleagues (e.g., Trading, Business Management, Business Control Unit, Operations), including client strategy and relationship development, client onboarding, client relationship coverage and maintenance, trade ideas and marketing, as well as trade execution and booking

  • Risk management. Understand and support the desk’s risk management activities, including financial risk and non-financial risk, driving business unit profitability by maximizing revenue alongside disciplined risk management and attention to legal, compliance and regulatory matters

Your skills and experience:

  • 2 years of professional work experience, ideally with client facing roles

  • Knowledge of Fixed Income products and markets; understanding of structured products a plus

  • Interest in macroeconomic developments and their impact on large, sophisticated investors

  • An entrepreneurial and creative mind / spirit to maximize client value and identify new opportunities

  • Strong communication skills

  • Team-oriented / team player

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and continuously navigate and thrive on novel situations, problems and challenges
