Overview
Deutsche Bank’s Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) team is a global, cross divisional function, the primary role of which is to perform Know Your Client (KYC) due diligence activities for new clients, while periodically reviewing and updating existing client relationships meeting internal KYC policy and procedures standards, and external regulatory requirements. The KYC Lead will report locally to the head of CLM America and have responsibilities for providing direction of KYC functions that impact or are run from the Americas. Will also report directly to the KYC Global Head of O & A. The role will work closely with global peers and within global programs to ensure that handoffs and dependencies across functions/regions are transparent and understood, and that operational targets are met.

Your Key Responsibilities:
You will drive the strategic agenda for the Americas as part of the CLM Senior Management Team
You will provide direction and oversight of local and remote team managers and their respective teams
You will ensure efficient delivery of KYC in a timely manner at a high level of quality
You will partner with business leaders to ensure all priorities are met within acceptable timelines
You will ensure an effective, embedded and consistently applied risk and control structure is in place
Your Skills and Experience:
You will have previous experience in working with near/ offshore teams
Excellent communication skills both internally and externally
Proactive, demonstrate your own initiative and ability to asset oneself
Degree level qualification of bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Extensive banking/ financial services experience, including relevant supervisory/ management experience
How You’ll Lead:
You will demonstrate thought leadership and promote change
Close collaboration with global functional heads in driving delivery of strategic goals
Act as an escalation contact for day-to-day issues and periodic reviews requiring documentation from the business
