DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks a Vice President in Cary, NC to track sprint progress in JIRA and ensure deliverables meet the minimum quality standards as set by the organization. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience developing client centric applications utilizing Java and spring framework. Must include five (5) years of progressively responsible experience troubleshooting functional and non-functional issues utilizing sonar, maven, Mockito, Log4J, and SQL; participating in the full development lifecycle for Java applications to support overall project objectives; leveraging design patterns and Test Driven Development (TDD) to build software that is reliable and supported in production; participating in code reviews and peer reviews to provide technical guidance towards building scalable solutions and avoiding technical debt in solutions; solving production issues (non-functional and functional) by validating issue details, validating data, re-producing in lower environment, analyzing logs and database, analyzing code, and forming code solutions; performing root cause analysis (RCA), assessing RCA and assigning defect categories, conducting baselining, identifying actions to prevent future defects, and work and story size estimation; and conducting root cause analysis for sprint and delivery and validating action plans to ensure movement towards zero defect delivery. #DNI
