What You'll Be Doing:

This Solution Architect / Principal Full Stack Application Developer position is for a project that performs Agile Software Development for systems that are used to support our client’s mission.

This position is for a senior technical expert and will involve software development from requirements gathering phase through coding and testing; developing and communicating technical solutions; communicating status including issues and risks to the team; collaborating with team members, clients, and other stakeholders, bringing a high-level and forward-looking vision to the team, and leading and mentoring teams to achieve high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate brings their depth and breadth of technical experience to the team, demonstrates a passion for solving complex software challenges; has the aptitude for picking up technology quickly along with a desire to learn and progress; has the ability to research problems, identify a root cause, recommend and implement a solution; has excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) and can communicate effectively internally with the team and with external clients; enjoys collaborating with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded; ability to remain flexible and adjust as to changing priorities.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Full stack application developer
• At least 15 years of professional experience in a polyglot development environment with client-facing delivery
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with React UI or related UI frameworks (e.g. Angular)  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Node.js  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with AWS Cloud Tools, particularly AWS Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB, Kinesis, API gateway, S3, and others 
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with JavaScript  
• Experience with agile and DevOps tools, such as Git, Jenkins, Junit
• Experience in writing SQL and working with relational database structures, PostgresSQL and/or Dynamo DB
• Experience with Single sign-on (SSO) using SAML        
• Ability to understand complex business processes and how they relate to the systems supporting them
• Experience working in an agile software development environment
• Experience leading development teams

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with Java 
• Experience with Maven
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with or exposure to Spring, Spring boot, JPA, and Hibernate frameworks 
• Experience with OAuth OIDC
• Experience with event-driven architecture  
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification

Education:

Bachelor's degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
