Virgin Hotels Chicago will be going through an extensive renovation, and we are looking for a marketing whiz who is organized, digitally savvy, and has a great creative eye to help us develop a launch marketing strategy as well as on-going yearly, quarterly, and monthly marketing strategies to ensure success and achieve budgeted revenues. This includes understanding and expressing the essence of Virgin Hotels through a multi-layered marketing strategy - from curating special room packages and partnerships to organic/paid digital media and PR.
You will also be required to lead a team, communicate, coordinate and work well with other teammates, managers and guests. Most of all, we want you to have FUN since you will play a huge role in creating that memorable guest experience!
The (Super) Power of Marketing:
- Rockstars need not apply. The Virgin culture, starting with Sir Richard, is a roll up your sleeves kind of place. The Director of Marketing must be willing and capable of developing the strategy creative vision, but also able to effectively communicate and execute their ideas and vision, without hand holding or lots of administrative support.
- Rage Against the (overdone) machine – We’re looking for someone with a personal philosophy that’s compatible with the Virgin approach; forward thinking, innovative, on trend and with a sense of fun and excitement. We’re tired of the same old, same old and we believe our guests are too.

- Develops strategic annual marketing plan and establishes annual marketing budgets. Leads the development and execution of quarterly action plans in support of hotel annual, quarterly and monthly KPIs.
