Overview:
A digital-first world means that skills are constantly evolving, so it is crucial to the firm that teams are equipped to develop emergent products. That's where the Dojo Coach (aka Sr. Agile Coach) comes in. The Dojo Coach is responsible for upskilling teams in strategic areas of the firm by employing an immersive, "learn by doing" approach.
Leveraging their empirical experience and strong expertise, the Dojo Coach will evaluate a team's operational, product and technical health to take a hands-on approach to addressing growth opportunities. The Dojo Coach will also facilitate all dojo workshops and training.
Additionally, the Dojo Coach will partner with leadership across the firm to ensure that environment and strategy support teams' growth and development.
What You'll Do:
- Embody a hands-on teaching approach to equip Product teams with Agile, product, DevOps, and software development skills that support strategic outcomes
- Champion continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation
- Exemplify empathy, humility, and active listening
- Help expand and iterate on the enterprise strategy for the Dojo including vision, mission, value proposition, KPIs, and operating model
- Foster relationships across the firm to identify opportunities for Dojo coaching
- Ensure Product Teams can demonstrate their learning based on the educational goals as part of the Dojo coaching engagement
- Communicate the outcome of the Dojo coaching, as well as coaching observations to the Product Team and the team's leader chain (up to senior leadership)
- Collaborate with Embedded Portfolio Coaches and Enterprise Coaches to align Dojo coaching to strategic outcomes
- Participate in thought leadership within spaces such as Agile, product, DevOps, and software development to continuously grow skills in order to better support Product Teams
What Experience You'll Need:

Current experience with any of the following:
- Hands-on modern software development experience
- Hands-on XP experience (e.g., pair programming, mobbing)
- Hands-on DevOps experience (build automation, test automation, test driven development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Development (CD), Infrastructure as code, etc.)
- 5 years on an Agile development team
- 5 years coaching experience (e.g., people development, Agile coaching, technical coaching)
- Lean, Kanban, Continuous Improvement, Process experience
Salary : $106,000 - $134,000
