DeveloperMedia, a Toronto-based advertising agency specializing in developer-focused advertising and marketing solutions, is seeking a competitive, passionate, and results-driven Junior Account Manager to add to our advertising sales force!

We are looking for a high-energy self-starter who can go to market and focus on sales while building, growing, and maintaining customer relationships.

What you will do:

  • Meet and/or exceed monthly quotas
  • Prospect for new clients and maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
  • Manage and grow territory by opening new and/or developing dormant accounts
  • Provide an accurate forecast of sales results and continuous management of sales activity
  • Track all sales activities in CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly
  • Provide professional customer service and always ensure superior client satisfaction
  • Create and manage proposals and orders while communicating with other departments internally as necessary

What you need to succeed:

Must have:

  • 2 years of sales experience in a business-to-business environment
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets
  • Experience using a CRM system
  • Accountability and coachability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office and general computer proficiency
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Strong negotiation skills, persistence, and resilience
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma

Nice-to-have:

  • Degree or diploma in advertising, sales, business, marketing, or communications is preferred
  • Experience in Salesforce
  • Interest and knowledge in the tech market
