Location: Nassau and Suffolk County at our Adult and Children Day and Residential Services.
Position Type: Full-Time On-Site
Salary Range: $44,517.20 - $53,420.64
Work Schedule:Monday-Friday
- 8am-4pm
- No weekends
Responsibilities:
- Daily attendance to students enrolled
- Treatment of all children for illness and injuries-treat, record and notify parents
- Administer medications daily, record and maintain up-to-date records.
- Maintain up-to-date students’ records on all students, i.e., physicals and immunization.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in Nursing or a related field preferred.
- Must be able to modify the area to secure the safety of children
- Ability to move/transport a child weighing up to 30 pounds to a height of 3 feet to place child on changing table
- Must be able to move quickly after a child up to 200 feet to prevent elopement
- N.Y. State Registered Nurse License required.
- N.Y. State Driver’s License.
- Knowledge of OMRDD Regulations preferred.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and critical thinking skills.
