Responsibilities
- Assist the painter in all paint procedures
- Clean, prep, sand, and mask parts and vehicles to get ready for painting
- Covers vehicle parts that do not require painting
- Mixes paint according to manufacturer specifications
- Buffing and clean up after vehicle is painted
- Keep work area clean
- Other tasks as assigned
- Frequent physical activity (kneeling, bending, squatting, stooping, lifting above shoulders, as well as repetitive tasks involving hand and arm motion and lifting objects over 50 pounds)
- Pushing / pulling carts and cars with assistance
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
- Applicants may be drug-tested
- Note : The working environment consists of exposure to fumes, chemicals, dust, and high levels of noise
