Overview

DevTech is looking for a Librarian to work as an institutional contractor on its Analytics, Data, Visualization, and Information Services (ADVISE) contract with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The Librarian will work as a member of the USAID Library sub-team. 

This position is full-time, requiring part-time onsite work at the USAID Library and part-time telework.

Responsibilities

• Respond to reference requests from USAID staff. 
• Staff the USAID Library in the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington DC. 
• Complete research projects on companies, countries, and USAID related sectors. 

• Assist with interlibrary loan requests. 

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Library and Information Science or a related field.  
• Knowledge of best practices in librarianship and at least three years of experience applying them in a library setting. 

• Research and database searching skills. 
• Knowledge of and interest in international development or a related field, such as economics, global/public health, gender, trade, or international relations preferred. 

The candidate must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for the required U.S. government security clearance for this project.
