ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Workcell Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Molding Production Dept. Position will report directly to the Molding Manager.
Safety Responsibilities:

Supports a culture where employees address unsafe conditions, unsafe behaviors and participate and make suggestions for improvement.

Identify safety gaps and self-initiate corrective actions.

Strictly adhere to plant safety, housekeeping, and 5S efforts.

Understands, identifies and corrects safety hazards.

Create a work environment where risks are managed with an appropriate sense of urgency
Job Description:
-
Lead, train, and mentor assigned Work Cell Coaches in the molding department.
- Communicate operational issues with other supervisors daily
-
Maintain and improve Work Cell 5S program
- Identify and correct equipment reliability issues
-
Develop teamwork on your shifts and with other shifts
-
Ensure compliance with Plant initiatives such as ISO, GMA-Safe and GMP
-
Review production schedules, orders, and related information to create work assignments and continually manage periods of machine downtime to create the most value for the shift

Communicate with management and staff to follow production standards.

Direct employees to be engaged in product measurement, inspection, and testing activities to ensure quality control and reliability.

Work closely with Molding Manager and Work Cell Coaches on improving utilization of personnel, material and manufacturing processes.

Complete production reports, purchase orders, material, tool, and equipment lists

Develop Skill and Knowledge performance plans

Basic Qualifications:

2 - 5 years experience supervising employees within a manufacturing, military or industrial environment
