What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field supervisor position at Dexian?
Our growing client in Concord, NC is seeking a Scheduling Supervisor for their team on a permanant basis. This position is required to sit fully onsite in Concord and offers full benefits.
This role is responsible for a team of phase schedulers managing both time and resources to ensure projects are completed on time.
This position is responsible for making sure projects are fully staffed when appropriate and reporting to upper management on needs.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participates in the hiring and training of Phase Schedulers
- Organizes and oversees the work and schedules of Phase Schedulers
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Promote the growth and development of phase schedulers and scheduling process’.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with the Field Management team with solution-oriented and problem-solving skills.
- Communicate professionally in all verbal and written communications.
- Oversees the management of the Time & Labor process for each phase using NOVAtime
- Supervises the development of the schedule for different phases of construction
- Serves as liaison to the construction field management regarding scheduling procedures
- Creates efficient revenue stream through proper scheduling procedures
- Serves customer with sense of urgency, and holds accountability to the culture and environment
- Provides plan for back up when phase schedulers are out of work
- Works to provide a seamless transition between office and field
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
- High school graduation or other equivalent
- Plumbing, construction, and / or homebuilding industry experience
- NOVAtime knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of common scheduling tactics
