Job Title: Procurement Specialist.
Location: Jacksonville, FL.
Duration: 06 Months.
Pay rate: $30-$33/Hr.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Preparing and issuing purchase orders
- Participate in demand forecasting
- Global sourcing for new and current product offerings
- Negotiating pricing, delivery, and credit terms with suppliers
- Evaluating current suppliers and seeking new/substitute suppliers when necessary
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines within a timely manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, clients and suppliers
- Negotiation skills to work with supplier
- An understanding of purchase order software platforms
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- At least 2-4 years of relevant work experience (Preferred)
